Meet Miix 4 – The Synergy of Speed and Elegance

HybridTeam’s back! We’re unable to access this blog for a while (security issues). But now, we’re kicking up a notch on our Official Blog once again!

Before everything else, we would like to introduce ourselves to everyone. We are now Hybrid Development Team. We would still be the same Hybrid Developers that everyone loved, but we’re going big on development, with PC and Android apps now being developed to our portfolio.

And anything before, Prime’s development has been halted since 1^st January, 2018. Development is now switched in favor of Miix, a revolution of Prime’s legacy. You probably heard it on most of our social media channels, even on Telegram (where we’re extremely active. Join our group chat!) and XDA-Developers. The beauty of Prime and the speed of AOSP in one.

In this post, we’ll be touring on what Miix offers to every user.

1. Hand-made Elegance

Work for Miix 4 has been started ever since the development of Prime 4.x has been restarted as Prime’s development got too unstable, similar to the situation of Windows Vista during pre-development. But what’s different is that this re-boot made it possible for Miix to be more elegant and stable.

Miix is designed from ground up. This is to make sure that no bugs from Prime are left out in our fresh, new ROM. We have used the same base Prime have used in the course of its four iterations, as this has been deemed the most stable that we have been used. Plus, the probability to port Miix to other devices is much larger with our base.

With the Samsung-inspired UI, the elegance of the pure blue personality of the ROM, and the cherry on top, the new lock screen and notification panel that matches the latest Galaxy devices, we are sure that Miix is the most elegant ROM we have created. The perfection of design is here.

2. Designed to be Latest

Miix never forgets its legacy. Monthly security updates are still fully guaranteed. And with our move to Github’s resilient servers, we are certain that we will be able to serve everyone the best sense of security, at a touch of a finger. Latest security updates, plus Android Oreo? Yes, Miix is designed to be Oreo. You’ll really feel the latest Android in every update.

3. Rocket-Fast

Now everyone has been asking. Does it lag? Well, devices lag on some instances, and Miix is one of them. But this time, Miix is faster than Prime, especially with the latest Build 18.5.1 update. The UI is fast, animations go smoothly, and speeds are comparable to AOSP. You heard that right, Miix is as fast as any other AOSP custom ROMs out there*. So with Miix, you get the fluidity of AOSP, with the beauty of Prime, all in one package.

And what’s more, Miix lasts for 13 hours** on a single charge, with 3 hours of maximum screen-on-time***. You can now go to your daily routine, without worrying that you’ll not be able to watch that YouTube video or play a single round of your favorite game on the way home.
